Study education system in vietnam

Fifteen doctoral students in teacher education policy, education and higher education, adult education and lifelong (Hale), traveling together with universities and schools throughout Vietnam this month as part of a new opportunity to study an international tour sponsored by the College of Education.

The group hopes that left 4 June to visit some 15 institutions in a total of 10 different cities during the tour. Visit his blog up to date images and reflections of the participants.

Faculty Director John Dirkx said the students approach the experience with two main objectives: to develop an understanding of the education in Vietnam (primary through postsecondary) education and Vietnamese efforts to reform the inspection, especially in an improved ability of the quality of instruction and leadership.

Postsecondary education system in Vietnam is growing very quickly, Dirkx said, when the economy is growing rapidly and will create more demand for more skilled workers. MSU faculty members have been successful in research and service in Vietnam, especially in institutions in the Mekong Delta.

College of Education intends to provide an international study tour sponsored by the doctoral students started a pilot three-week trip to China in 2009.Ohjelma is now open to all Ph.D. Students wishing to apply for the chance to experience the culture and education to suoraan.Ryhmä traveled to China earlier this spring, and the second group from Botswana was the end of June.
